Fragrant tea in an ancient hall, serene and still; Zen shadows brush before the window.

A minimalist expression of Southwest Chinese architecture.

Experience a new-style teahouse of Eastern minimalist aesthetics.

This store is located in the Taikoo Li commercial area of Chunxi Road, Chengdu, with a prominent commercial environment and heavy foot traffic. Compared with other commercial districts in Chengdu, its most distinctive feature lies in the concentration of specialty stores of many brands, as well as numerous large shopping malls and luxury stores, making it a shopping destination favored by both out-of-town visitors and local residents. Here, we hope that through design, HEYTEA can stand out and constantly showcase the philosophy the brand intends to express.

Tea Culture

Chengdu's leisurely, slow-paced lifestyle has given the city a rich teahouse culture. Inside the teahouse, a faint tea fragrance fills the air; sunlight falls on the tables and chairs, warm and soft; the space is filled with a quiet and cozy atmosphere.

Southwest Architecture

Southwest architecture has a square or nearly square plan, and its large timber structure is of the post-and-lintel type. Dougong and hanging melon-shaped components serve as structural elements and still function to bear roof loads and cantilever the roof; there are also side leans, which are one of the characteristics of early architecture; the roof is provided with sheathing boards and a base layer.

Eastern Minimalism

It emphasizes simplicity, elegance, and restraint, and stresses inner meaning and artistic conception. It usually adopts clean lines and geometric shapes, and its expression in space achieves a balanced and harmonious effect. Materials are mainly natural and soft, often using colors such as off-white, light gray, and pale wood tones to create a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
