In our many design projects, we focus increasingly on the added value that space can bring to business.

The success of the Chuntai Taikoo Li store in Beijing led the owner to approach us once again, and the name "Tihu " was taken from "Buddhist truth", which means fine wine, wisdom, enlightenment, and inspiration. A restaurant was then born below the China Central Place apartments in Beijing.

A convenience store at night, where everyone can get energized, recharged, and ready to start over. Tihu is thus a "convenience store tavern", where the customers fill the energy of the space and then it is given back to them; the space, and the people, through the transformation of moods, will spread all kinds of emotions in the cold night city, and bring a wonderful sense of healing and attraction to the people who stop by here.

The overall color tone of the space is set as an associative color from orange to yellow, and the color scheme and materials are matched with this color value range. Without excessive decorative treatment, we respect and keep the wall structure of the original architectural construction, dappled or rugged, all by color to do with.

At the same time in this space, we still adhere to the people-oriented purpose, the dazzling orange is mostly used for desktop props, and the guests are the main scenery we want to present in this space.

The collision and matching of metal and different materials is our usual creative technique. As of how to reduce the coldness of metal and enhance the "human touch" in it, in addition to the use of mirrors to map the material, we try to express through the division of the visual ratio and the proportion of the use of matching.

In terms of lighting, we use the whole film form and the matrix division elements to create, which is different from other taverns, and the lighting using floodlight form, is intended to create a sense of wrapping and interaction in a small space, rather than using spotlights to separate each guest seat, coupled with a special customized orange light strip, as if the customer will be wrapped in an orange box.

Folding windows can be opened at the front to maintain ventilation while increasing the number of seats, and the overall ratio of windows and curtain walls is also divided by a matrix that echoes the interior. The window is like the business card of a convenience store, which when opened has the ability to spread and disperse the emotional energy of the space.

We hope that this convenience store will connect the community and the city, connect individuals with their neighbors, and connect the self with peer groups. We are also committed to matching the commercial value of the brand, and at the same time, creating and exploring the energy that the space can bring through spatial design, as well as other additional possibilities.
